Over the holidays I had a lot of family and friends ask me how things are going with ClientTether, then the inevitable follow up question came… “what is it exactly that you guys do again?” This question didn’t come as a surprise because there are so many new software solutions out there that the waters can get pretty muddy. At first, when I was answering, I was tempted to jump into the details and explain the “what” and the “how” that I think is very cool and differentiates us, but when I did that I would typically start to see a glazed look in their eyes! So, I decided to change my approach a little and explain more of the “why” we are in business and it seemed to resonate much more. I explained, “When I worked in the online marketing space over the last 15 years our goal was to send more leads to a company, and with ClientTether’s software we help companies convert those leads into clients!”
This high level value proposition springboards into our overarching mission here at ClientTether. We believe in making it simple for companies to develop a real relationship with their clients. Our team’s mission is to use our mix of business and tech savvy to help our clients connect with potential clients of their own and create lasting relationships with them. By leveraging our communications technology we hope to decrease their busy work, amplify their business success, and give them more time to focus on the things that they are passionate about!
There are a lot of buzzwords out there in the marketplace right now that people latch onto, such as ‘sales automation’, ‘marketing automation’, and ‘CRM’. However, we don’t want to be lumped in with everyone else as just another “me too” because we feel we are unique in our offering and approach. We are very focused on helping grow personalized relationships with more of a one-to-one or one-to-few solution, rather than a one-to-many solution. In essence, our goal is to help companies leverage technology while still maintaining the human touch.
We do this in a very strategic way, by designing a workflow with each of our clients, using our three core pillars of Connect, Convert, and Create as the building blocks for a successful game plan. For example, one of our clients has seen dramatic effects on their business over the last several months since implementing ClientTether. With the “Connect” feature, they are able to schedule appointments with their leads (leads that are being sold to 5 other competitors simultaneously) before their competitors can even call. Using the “Convert” aspects, they ensure that none of their leads fall through the cracks and that every lead is going through the same process. They are closing upwards of 60-70% of their leads by using the Connect and Convert functionality. Additionally, their repeat business and referrals have increased since taking advantage of our “Create” component. This allows them to cycle back through existing clients every three to six months or so, to check in about past projects and to see if they have any new projects or know of anyone that does. The company is just over a year old and just a few months ago they landed 5 new jobs in one day and they were all repeat customers. This is unheard of in their industry!
This story illustrates our desire and capability to help business owners be more efficient with their communications and grow a culture of success. After all, the whole reason anyone decides to start their own business is because there is a hope that they will make more money and have more discretionary time. We can help to achieve both those goals; this is WHY we are in business and it’s what gets us excited to come into work each morning!!
